Talking Animals, Law & Philosophy Term Card

We are delighted to announce the Michaelmas Term card of our Talking Animals, Law & Philosophy series. We will start on 17 October with a presentation by David M. Peña-Guzmán (SF State) on “The Fantastical Animal”. On 14 November, Claire Jean Kim (UCI) will join us to talk about “Fighting for Animals in a Moment of Danger”. Andrew Fenton (Dalhousie) will present on “A Bioethical Engagement with the Canadian Council on Animal Care Revised Ethics Document” on 21 November. Finally, Jonathan Birch (LSE) will join us on 30 November to talk about “Animal Sentience and Interspecies Welfare Comparisons”. All talks take place on Zoom and are free to attend.
