Our Centre invites applications for Visiting Fellows to come to Cambridge for a period of between 8 and 22 weeks during Lent and Easter Term 2025 (21 January – 20 June 2025). The purpose of the programme is to enable the Visiting Fellow to work on and substantially complete an academic paper or book. In recognition of participation in the Centre’s activities, the Centre will reimburse travel and accommodation costs up to £2,000. Extra funding is available for candidates who can provide evidence that they would otherwise not be able to take up the position. The deadline for applications is 1 December 2023. Registration is now open for our Conference
Registration is now open for the European Animal Rights Law Conference 2023, which will take place from 12-13th August 2023 at Clare College, Cambridge. The Conference is on the theme "Animal Rights in Litigation" and will feature leading animal rights judges from around the world in a special panel entitled "Judging Animal Rights". Call for applications Visiting Researchers & Fellows
Our Centre invites applications for funded Visiting Researcher and Visiting Fellow positions at our Centre. For Visiting Researchers (PhD candidates or postdocs), we offer an 8-week research visit during Lent Term (16 January – 15 March 2024). For Visiting Fellows (candidates with a distinguished research or professional record), we offer an 8-22 week research visit during Lent and Easter Term (16 January – 14 June 2024). The Centre will reimburse the costs of accommodation in Cambridge and make a contribution towards travel. Extra funding for living expenses is available if needed.
